Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2025
Welcome to Miami Plumbing Pros. These terms explain our service agreement for faucet cartridge replacement in your home or business.
Services Covered and Exclusions
We replace faucet cartridges for kitchen, bath, shower, and tub fixtures. Our service includes new cartridge installation and basic testing for leaks and proper function.
We follow all local and state plumbing rules. Our work meets the Miami-Dade County Plumbing Code and Florida Building Code, Chapter 4.
Excluded work includes faucet body replacement, supply line repairs, and valve replacements. We cannot fix damage from pre-existing leaks or mineral buildup.
Access issues like sealed shut-off valves or corroded parts may stop work. Scope changes require a new estimate and your approval before we proceed.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and Changes
Book appointments by phone or email. We confirm your appointment with a time window. Please provide 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
We may charge a fee for last-minute cancellations. If we arrive and cannot access the work area, a trip fee may apply.
Site conditions like severe corrosion may require rescheduling. We will explain the issue and book a new visit.
Estimates, Pricing, and Payment
We provide free estimates for cartridge replacement. Estimates are valid for 30 days. Final price may change if the job scope changes.
You must approve any price changes before we do extra work. Payment is due when work is finished. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.
Workmanship Warranty
We warranty our faucet cartridge replacement labor. The warranty covers leaks or malfunctions from our installation.
The warranty period is based on the cartridge manufacturer’s guidelines. It does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, or other plumbing issues.
Altering our work or using non-approved parts voids this warranty. We stand behind doing the job right.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for pre-existing plumbing conditions.
This includes damage from old valves, pipes, or fixtures we discover during work. We follow ASSE standards for pressure and thermostatic valves.
We are not responsible for damage from hidden issues we could not see. Florida Statutes Chapter 489 defines licensed plumber responsibilities.
